You can call me pooky
or Addy
i got my start in the fandom with art and roleplay, made my first suit (a black spaniel) and attended my first furry convention in 2010. being an edgy dog was fire and I haven’t turned back since. up until now i haven’t really been consistent in any art style save the sketchy stuff. conventional patience wasn’t something i grew into. figure now is a good time to stop trying so hard to fit in- so this is what you get, woohoo!
every medium finds home in my studio and micro hobbies abound. im incredibly curious and love learning. if i don’t know about something, i’m open to discuss. if i haven’t experienced something, i’d like to try it at least twice before forming personal opinions- and boi am i opinionated sometimes. does this get me into some weird situations? yes, but i love it
despite my demeanor, i’m awkward, clumsy, shy, and crave close bonds free of restrictive judgement. when people fuck you over time after time, it’s hard to trust anyone completely. but i’d like to. i cope with these frustrations through art. welcome to my little corner of the internet~
this is how i sate my need for socializing
i gave up on the idea of being an artist when enough people told me it wasn’t a real job, so I studied biology and animal science and got burnt out as a vet tech and zookeeper. it really messed with me. now i work in veterinary diagnostics and gnaw at the bit for a way out. the goal is to someday capture enough of your attention to focus on… whatever this is. someday i’d like this anti-fine art fine art to land
my passion for creating is realized again through the fandom- where i find some comfort. i want to share what goes on in my head. maybe by helping you express yourselves, i’ll find it easier to start expressing myself again, too.
i didn’t ask to be here
i’m going to do things my way
